Christmas Cards on Display

I absolutely adore Christmas cards. Since we are at the age where almost all of our friends have young children, we receive many cards with attached photographs.
A couple of years ago, I started hanging ribbon from one of the drapery rods in our dining room in order to display these cards. I love being able to see all of those shining faces during the holiday season!
I have not yet perfected a way to afix the cards to the ribbon though. Right now, I am just using packing tape. It works ok, but I am constantly retaping as the cards come loose. I'd appreciate any ideas y'all may have!
Enjoy the photos...

If you aren't worried about "hurting" the card any, consider punching a hole in the top and bottom of each card and running the ribbon along the backside of each card... Great idea for displaying all the beuatiful cards!!

At Paper Source, we hang samples on ribbons using circular paper clips. They work great, but they are always displayed on angles. I don't know if that is stylistically or out of necessity.

This is a wonderful way to display your cards.

I was looking around your blog instead of doing the list of things I need to be doing and I looked at your other blog for Emma and saw the picture of the boys with their PaPa and the verse Psalm 147:3-5 and just started crying, we lost my Dad on April 25th and it has been the hardest thing I have ever had to go through, I am a only child raised by him and Brady has been the light of his life and he could not wait for us to get Lilly Rae. I am so glad to have read that verse today I needed it.
Merry Christmas

What a great idea....I am always trying to find a way to "display" all the wonderful x-mas cards we get every year! I will have to keep this in mind for next year :).

Yes, I love my department at school and we have so much fun. Jennie said that it took one whole roll of paper and 2 hours of work from both she and her husband - she also did 4 other classrooms! :)

Great minds think alike. That is how I display mine, but on my kitchen door. I clicked on the picture to see the cards closer(I like looking at cards, even if I don't know the people) and your card with the blue pants, AWESOME! Too cute!
