Please join me and fellow North Carolinian Andie MacDowell in the fight against heart disease!
The American Heart Association's Go Red For Women campaign is designed to raise awareness about the impact of heart disease on women.
"Every minute, someone's mother, daughter, wife or sister dies from heart disease and stroke in the United States. Reducing these diseases in women must become a national priority. Ask your lawmaker to support the HEART for Women Act. Women's lives depend on it." http://www.heartforwomen.org/
This organization is especially near and dear to our family. My father lost his battle with heart disease on April 21, 2008!
"Whether it's a red dress, a red T-shirt, a red dress pin or red lipstick, show the world you support Go Red For Women, the American Heart Association's movement to help save women's lives."

GO Red!!
What great day...thank you for the reminder!
I wore my red today!!
At the hospital where I work sooooo many people wore red yesterday. It was so pretty. One of the units also held a bake sale and the proceeds went to the American Heart Association
Thanks so much for the advice on my eye. Almost went to the walk in clinic today but thought I'd wait to see if it improved. It hasn't, so I will have it checked out tomorrow. It's very painful and I have a headache now behind that eye.
