The Remodeling Guy

Since we got the "new" house under contract, I am constantly thinking of home improvement projects that I can do myself! You see, the new house is actually 22 years old, and there is a lot that needs to be done to it. We really love all of the square footage and character that this house has though.

I don't know much about using power tools, etc. and basically the only thing that I can do right now by myself is paint. BUT with the help of this guy, The Remodeling Guy, I am hoping to learn a lot more about Do-IT-Yourself home improvement projects!

If you haven't checked out his blog yet, please do! It is very informative, and he posts great photos with suggestions as to "how to do it"!

Here's an exerpt from one of his posts last week...

"I’m Your Guy

If you want great advice on bigger scope issues. Such as:
Should I hire an architect?
Should I hire a contractor?
If I should, how do I do it?
If I shouldn’t, what do I do?
Can I add on to my house?
How do I make it look like it was “always there”?
How can I improve my use of space?"

And today's post is "An Idea Kitchen - A Close-Up Look" where he discusses details in this beautiful kitchen that almost everyone can incorporate.

I have already asked him two questions, and he responded to both in less than 24 hours! What a great resource, and if you are not interested in the DIY projects, he still has fabulous photos and ideas! Go check him out!

Wow! I'm flattered to be THE topic of your post today! Thank you so much for spreading the word.

Your blog looks great! Your pictures of a wonderful family are the highlight!

There are some people out there who I HAVE NOT responded to in 24 hours, so I better get to it!
