The Disappointing News is...
We cannot post any photos of Emma until she is ours!!! That will mean at least the second trip over...possibly the third after the appeals period ends. :(
The Good News is...
We found out today that we may only be waiting 4 to 6 weeks (not months) in between trips!!! This is new for St. Petersburg, but there are no guarantees for us just yet. We will wait and see once we return to the States.

The Great News is...
We will get to meet our little Emma one week from today!
We met with our agency today to go over our in-country itinerary. We have A LOT to do next Wednesday before we can see Emma. I know I will be a basket case and very emotionally and physically exhausted, but I CANNOT WAIT!!!! :)
We are also looking forward to as much sight-seeing as possible, but I don't know how much time we will have in St. Petersburg. We have a full day in Moscow, and I am very excited about walking through Red Square, seeing the Kremlin and St. Basil's Cathedral as well as souvenir shopping.

Well shoot! I was hoping for pictures and that the disappointing news was the poor water discovery. I hope it will only be the 4-6 weeks and not months. I hope that news turns from good to great and yes, one week until you meet her! This is such a special time and I'm glad you are sharing it all with us.
That is exciting news that you get to see Emma in a week. We'd love to see pics but they will be worth the wait.
Godspeed to your daughter.
Well - I must admit I was waiting on pins and needles for those pictures, but from the moment you meet her and forever more YOU will have a picture of her and that is the most important part! I guess the rest of us can wait some more:)
Blessings, Ashley
Oh my word....you must be on cloud nine right now!! So much excitement in your life.....I am so happy for you guys. I would so much love to see her little smiling face, but know all too well about the rules that must be followed......You will be able to show her to all of us before you know it!!
Happy Packing and Safe Travels!
Lisa
As far as disappointing news goes - and compared to the other news - that's not that bad! CONGRATULATIONS! Travel safe. I'll be thinking about you!
One week!!! Oh my word how exciting!!!
Oh my goodness! You must be over the moon! I am sooo excited for your family. I can't wait to see her sweet little face. Happy packing!
I was afraid of the no picture rule. I'm disappointed, I can't wait to see her! I can't believe there is only a week left before you meet your little girl for the first time. There is nothing more exciting than that!
Well, can you send pics in an e mail? I can't wait to see her! How exciting for you that you are leaving next week. I will be praying~
I guess we will have to be patient for pictures, but the news on timing is definitely good! Yea!
Oh.... I am so very excited for you! I will be on vacation in a week so I will be sure to pray, pray, pray for you! It will be filled with emotions, but take it all in... It is a sweet and special journey! I look back at all the details as so wonderful!
Love to you!!!!
Julie
