A Thought for Thursday

hydrangea

or maybe just a Question:

How can we possibly stand to walk out of Emma's orphanage on June 5th (our last visit) without her???

That is a good question! It may be the hardest thing you ever have to do in your life :(

I don't know anything about Russian adoptions. Do you have to visit several times before you get her?

It will def. be difficult but just think about all the fun times ahead and all the love she is going to have that she's never experienced before. Thinking positively about the future with Emma will hopefully help somewhat.

I know this is going to be so hard for you....you have to keep the faith and know that you will be back there soon to bring her home for good....where she belongs!!

Not sure if I ever told you or not, but my brother in law and sister in law adopted a little boy from Russia. Let me know if you need anything...they are big advocates of the program and do a lot of work with their agency and other parents in the process of adopting.

Thinking of you.....what an exciting time!!

Hugs,

Lisa

That is truly the hardest part but God will lift you up and get you through. We left our sweet girl a blanket with our pictures sewn on it and I sprayed it with my perfume. The Lord will be with you every step of the way!

Oh yes, I've been thinking about you in this way. I think that will be one of the hardest things you will ever do. The wait from referral to travel was hard for us, I can't even imagine having to leave after meeting your daughter. Just keep positive thoughts in your head and hopefully the time will pass quickly.

Thinking of you!
