Downtown Dallas

To my surprise, a limo picked us all up and took us to the airport! I think my blood pressure bottomed out as soon as I stepped into the limo. There's no feeling quite like when you start a carefree vacation.

We arrived very early at our little airport so we had almost two hours before take-off. The fun times and laughing started immediately!

When we arrived Thursday afternoon, we went straight to the pool even though it was very windy and cool. We stayed out there for a while and then had a fabulous dinner. The restaurant was close enough that we had our own hotel driver and rode in a Lexus SUV to and from dinner.

Friday was my birthday. Sigh!
It was very nice. We started the day off touring the 6th Floor Museum in the old Texas School Book Depository. Wow...what an experience!!!

See that far right window down one from the top? That is supposedly where Oswald shot the President.

Here are a couple of shots from DEALEY PLAZA where the President was when his car came under fire.
