How many of you out there have a stack of projects just waiting for the time and attention they deserve?
I have so many things swirling around in my head that I'd like to tackle...some major projects like painting the master bathroom (again) and the hallway between the master and the laundry room as well as possibly redecorating our entire bedroom.
I do have smaller projects that are absolutely affordable and easy to accomplish if I could just find more time. Here's a sneak peek at what's laying around just waiting for me to get on board...
Like this little beauty that I got from the nursing home where I am a pharmacist for a $10 donation:
I don't know where I want her so I don't know what to paint her just yet. She may end up in Emma's room...she's such a pretty and dainty piece of furniture.
I plan on pulling out the dry rotted foam in the cushions, replacing it and then recovering the seats...I'm thinking about these in the master bedroom, but I'm not quite sure what I'll do with them just yet.
Here's a little frame of a foot stool that I found for $3 at Goodwill. I have already purchased a cute lime green zebra fabric to make the cushion out of for Emma's room...again - I need more time!
And what do you think about this $3 mirror?
But I've also been collecting oyster shells
which could just as easily make a lovely mirror or unique light fixture like this one featured in a Jane Coslick project:

So many fun ideas swirling around in my head! With warmer weather ahead, I am not sure how many projects will get accomplished, but I am always on the lookout for something new and unique to do! I'll keep you posted if any of these things actually come to fruition!

Long time reader of your blog!
I have a question for you...I am spray painting a toy box for my niece's 2nd birthday and one side is made of plywood...it sprayed very blotchy.
Do you have any tips to spray painting furniture?
THANK YOU!
CSC, Guuurl, you got inspired by recent shopping trips didn't you?? hahaha I LOVE the little table... the legs-Wowzers! I also love that mirror and all the fab possibilities it holds. The driftwood idea is pretty nifty! I can see you doing that. :) I think I have a new sickness... thanks to you and all these AMAZING blogs I've been reading (another addiction). I can't help but be inspired to try to some of things! It is so much fun!!! I can see that my garage is going to quickly become a 2nd hand storage space! ha it's crazy and like you, I'm wondering when I am ever going to have the time to do all the projects I have "swirling around" in my brain. It is exciting to think about though. woohoo! Maybe we should get together to work on our projects this summer. :)
Wow! What fabulous finds! I can't wait to see them done!
Ok, so the driftwood... I LOVE it! I saw on a blog around blog world (i wish I could remember it now) where she turned the drift wood into wall art/headboard type thing. Like hung the driftwood right on the wall. It looked AMAZING! I am going to have to start collecting it, because that is what I hope to do one day!
If you find the time, could you send me some too... I have a list like that in my bookmarks folder, but never seem to get to them. Would help if I was home where I could get the "stuff" too! :)
Love your ideas and finds. I've seen that pottery barn mirror, can't wait to see how your mirror turns out. Your finds and the finished product are great inspiration. I just wish I could "see into" "stuff".
