All Stars Banquet - WinMock at Kinderton

This year, our Little League All Stars Banquet was held at the newly renovated WinMock Barn at Kinderton.

WinMock

We celebrated 12 teams ranging from seven year olds to Seniors. The night was absolutely beautiful, and the WinMock Barn is just gorgeous!

As we entered the barn, we were greeted by renovated horse stalls turned to meeting rooms...

I was so busy taking photos that JC and Brendan made their way upstairs without me. As I turned the corner, this is who greeted me...

Such a magnificent space, "The Loft, framed by a gothic arched ceiling, features original curved, wooden rafters carefully molded in place during its 1920s construction."

Our banquet began at 6:30pm with a buffet style dinner followed by a locally renowned guest speaker, Mike Lambros. He has been the head softball coach at North Davidson High School for 31 years. "In 2010, his Lady Knights were undefeated at 33-0 and won the NC State 4A Title as well as being voted the National Champions in the USA Today/NFCA Coaches Poll."

Each team and player was announced after the speaker, and the players were presented with their All Star pins.

As soon as the teams were announced, the party started. There was a DJ playing the kids' favorite tunes and dancing, and the players were treated to popcorn and snow cones.

I think Brendan really enjoyed his snow cone!

It was such a fun evening for these softball & baseball players as well as the coaches and parents.

We are so blessed to be a part of such an amazing League!

Congrats to Brendan!
What a way to celebrate a season. Sounds like a fun time was enjoyed for all ages. The transformation is amazing and how they retained the beauty of the original barn is impressive.

kid on the right in pic #8 could be Brendan's twin. I really hope I counted the photos correctly...

very cute pics of B and boys.

Yes, WinMoc is gorgeous. We went when they had "Open House" to celebrate the Grand Opening. They served champagne :)

Miss Herko's sister is getting married there next weekend... or very soon. Lovely venue!!
