In Remembrance

On Thursday, June 30th, Brendan's All Star team played at our home field. The boys had an amazing come back in the 4th inning, and they ended up winning that game!

We were so proud of Brendan. He caught 5 out of the 6 innings that were played that night so he spent a lot of time behind the plate.

Just two days later, we found out that the Home Plate Umpire from that game had gone home Thursday night and suffered a stroke. He later passed away on Friday, July 1st. His name is Bill Lee.

Our Little League has just been devastated by this news. Here are a few shots that I got that night...Mr. Lee's last night at SWFLL.

We are all praying for the Lee Family.

Very sad indeed! I bet his family would be more than appreciative to receive copies of these pictures you captured.

So sad to read this. The baseball family becomes very close...I remember those days of All Star and Legion ball. You lost one of YOURS...so sorry for his family.
