Overwhelmed

I was walking through the baby section of a big box store yesterday for some last minute supplies to take with us next week.

That's when I became completely OVERWHELMED by all the baby gear out there! Once my boys became toddlers, I purged ALL of that Mommy knowledge from my brain!

I know that we will reacclimate to this age again, but it kinda freaked me out!!!

SERIOUSLY!!!

You have every right to be overwhelmed. They have something for everything. At least you have experience on your side....that counts for a lot. I'm sure it will all come back very quickly. Do you know how old Emma is? Do they send pictures beforehand or will you lay eyes on her for the very first time in the orphanage. I don't know much about international adoptions.

The baby/toddler market is insanity at it's best! I can't believe all of the gadgets and gizmos out there. At least you get to skip a few stages, although I know that you probably rather wouldn't. But good luck working through figuring out what you need.

It is amazing what is on the market for babies and toddlers. I can't believe how quickly it all changes. You will be fine! It will be so much fun---and you can get it all in PINK!

How old is Emma? If she's over 2, then it's probable that it's the same home as Sofia! If she's under 2, then it's probably a baby home. Have you seen a picture yet? We didn't until the MOE when she whipped the computer screen around to show us. That first glance was amazing! Where have you decided to stay in StP?

It's a huge money maker ~ I always giggle at first time moms. They think they need it all because it's on the shelves.

Deep breath, relax, you'll be fine {throw a glass of wine or two in there as well!}

You are right. There is so much stuff. But you really don't need all of it, you know?
