HELP!!!
My Nikon D50 SLR camera's flash stopped working yesterday! I have no idea what is wrong. I took the above photo with the flash, but the photo came out dark anyway. All the photos that I have taken inside today have also looked like this!
Any ideas??? Is it the camera or the lens??? I need HELP!!!

Are you shooting in Automatic mode? and is the flash actually going off?? Email me if you want...I have a couple suggestions or things to tell you to check, but don't want to write you a book here.

Sorry - I have no help for your camera (I just pray that mine shoots when I point!). Just wanted you to know that I am still thinking of your family and praying that Emma comes home soon!!

1. Ask Maria - she broke her camera (dropped it, I think) a while back and had it fixed.
2. Is the camera and/or flash under warranty?
3. I suggest "googling" your camera model with another search string like "flash not working" or "broken flash" or "flash troubleshoot" and see what you can find.
Good luck! My best friend's camera just broke - I hope that's not what has happened with yours!
