Favorite Photo Friday

My poor camera has been neglected and packed away for about three weeks now.

I am struggling with this camera. I have never really liked it, and the decision to buy it was made in haste when my first DSLR stopped working right after coming home from Russia the first time. I was afraid to be without a camera in the event that we needed to travel for our court date with last minute notice.

So...part of my not using my camera is that I am not friends with it currently. Part of it is that I am just barely holding my head above water as we all adjust to this new school year schedule!

Thursday afternoon, Emma had her second dance class of the year. She went with one of her good friends so I had to get her dressed and wearing shoes that I thought she might be able to put on by herself at the end of class. At the recommendation of my good friend, we selected Emma's RED cowgirl boots. She looked so darn cute. I dusted off my camera and took a few photos in the 4.2 minutes that I had available before pickup.

Below is my favorite photo of the ones I snapped. It is not perfect, but I love how Emma is all smiles as she is about to leave for class.
