Father's Day

We went to Oak Island for Father's Day weekend.  Unfortunately for JC, on Father's Day he had to help me clean the condo and then drive four hours home.  As an added negative, he then watched Carolina lose to NC State in their first game of the College World Series.  Thankfully I think the rest of his weekend was a little better.

Here is a picture that I took of Emma...she gave JC a framed 8x10 copy.

We got to see JC's dad briefly on the way home, and we gave him his present as well.  His dad has a vintage VW Beetle that he bought in England in 1972.  This car has moved all over the world with JC's family, and it now has its own garage at their house.  We snuck over one day and got some photos of the kids with this car.  I had them blown up for his Father's Day present.

My mom brought over some old pictures so that I could get them reprinted.  I found this one of me and my dad.  I don't remember it, but I love it.



I sure do miss my dad...this was my 5th Father's Day without him.
