Off the Market

Remember this post "I May Be Crazy"?

Well, we had to take our house off the market today. The house that we had under contract (with a contingency that we sell ours) got another offer. The sellers took it. That means if we sold our house, we would not have one to move to. That would be detrimental to our adoption process.

So I have been very disappointed today, but I am coming around and focusing on the positives - like for example...I don't have to make up three beds in the morning if I don't want to!

Bummer! Did you guys have any other properties in your sights? Have you had many "bites" on your house? I know it has got to be hard right now. I'll be delving into refinancing VERY soon.
I assume you're watching the Heels?! It's a little tit-for-tat, but I hope the Heels can keep State down!

I can relate to the disappointments associated with selling/buying a house. At least you had the contingency and won't end up with two mortgages like we did. Things do happen for a reason so keep your chin up!

The baby booties and the house flag are our ways of compromising. Sooo glad his team lost again. Do you know how tired I am of hearing 41-10? I'll hear that until next November.

So sorry to hear this news. I also believe everything happens for a reason. Maybe you will find the perfect house after Emma comes home. In the meantime, enjoy not making your beds tomorrow!

So sorry to hear you won't be able to get the house you wanted - but I am sure that whatever home you are in Emma will be wonderfully welcomed in!!
